The GTA 6 Map: Welcome to Leonida
GTA 6 trades a single city for an entire state. Leonida is Rockstar’s fictional Florida — neon Vice City at its heart, wild wetlands and island chains around it. It’s believed to be the biggest world Rockstar has ever built, commonly estimated at 1.5–2x the size of GTA 5’s map — though Rockstar hasn’t published official numbers.

Southeast metro
The neon heart of Leonida and Rockstar’s modern take on Miami — Art Deco beachfronts, a dense downtown skyline, nightlife, and waterfront wealth. Rockstar calls it the most detailed city it has ever built.

Southern island chain
A chain of small islands strung together by long overwater highway bridges, echoing the Florida Keys. Sleepy marinas and dive spots sit on top of a long smuggling tradition — and it’s where Jason’s story starts.

Southern wetlands
Leonida’s Everglades: slow rivers, sawgrass marsh, and swampland best crossed by airboat. Expect alligators and other wildlife, plus hunting and fishing out in the wet wilderness.

A worn-down working port of motels, scrapyards, strip malls, and dive bars. This is Leonida’s low-rent side, where cheap thrills and small-time crime blur together.
